Investment analyst leaves GVI

Global Value Investors is looking for a new investment analyst.

Investment analyst Scott Gilchrist has left boutique international equities manager Global Value Investors (GVI).

Gilchrist worked for GVI since March 2008. He has taken up a job with his former employer, Platinum Asset Management.

"The firm hopes to announce his replacement soon," the firm said in a statement.

The investment team is led by head of investments Roy Chen and includes portfolio manager Matthew Saddington, senior equities analysts Stephen Arnold, Matthew Hegarty and Daniel Fitzgerald and research associate Ayush Srivastava.
