Financial planning software firm, Iress Marketing Technology (Iress), has made a number of updates to its risk insurance solution following the inclusion of two new insurers.
The online company has added insurers Axa and AIA Australia to its Risk Researcher service within Xplan.
The addition of Axa enables Risk Research premium modelling information to be automatically transferred across to the Axa online system, Elevate Online, Axa product services and technology senior manager Stan Pappas said.
"Through the integrated solution, advisers can now seamlessly transfer data from Xplan to Axa's Elevate Online, where they are able to apply online and obtain instant underwriting decisions, making it a fast and efficient submission process," Pappas said.
As well as access to Axa and AIA Australia, financial planners using Risk Researcher also have real-time binding quotations for Asteron, CommInsure, Tower and Zurich.
As part of its updates, Iress has rolled out a new statement of advice process called Advice Record.
"The Advice Record functionality within Risk Researcher utilises statement libraries and report templates to greatly speed up the risk advice process," Iress research services head Louie Dimovski said.
