ANZ wealth management arm OnePath has strengthened its life risk division with the appointment of a new manager.
Andrew Wells has been chosen to take on the role of master trust development manager reporting directly to the group risk product manager.
The new position will see Wells take up responsiblity for expanding the market presence of OnePath's group risk business.
In doing so Wells will be expected to raise awareness and in turn market share of the OnePath Master Trust.
Wells has over 20 years of financial services industry experience behind him.
In this time, he has completed a stint as an account manager at FuturePlus, as well as a 10 year spell with iPac as a financial planner.
"Andrew's appointment demonstrates it is business as usual at OnePath. In fact, our commitment to, and investment in, group risk insurance is increasing," Onepath head of group risk Robin Knight said.
"Andrew is key to our growth strategy and I am pleased to have such talent and experience in the team," he added.
Wells is in the process of completing an MBA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a diploma of financial planning.
