Tyndall expands team with new appointments

Tyndall has made further new appointments to enhance its asset management, client service and business development activities.

Robert Woodford is responsible for managing Tyndall's relationship with key institutional clients for the fixed income business, as well as assisting in developing and implementing fixed income strategies for institutional clients.

Before joining Tyndall, Woodford was co-founder and executive director of Columbus Capital, and has also worked as a senior investment specialist with AMP Capital Investors' fixed income and currency division and with Westpac Institutional Bank as an associate director in the debt capital markets division, as well as spending time in London with Bankers Trust and ING Barings.

He holds a master's degree in applied finance from Macquarie University's Centre of Applied Finance and a bachelor of business studies degree in accounting and finance from Massey University in New Zealand. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Sebastian Mullins is responsible for managing the business's multi-manager global equities strategy and its diversified funds range.

Mullins was previously with Challenger, working primarily in performance, risk analytics and security valuation.

He is currently studying for a master's degree in applied finance at Macquarie University and has an honours degree in mathematics and computer science.

The two investment writing roles are part of the marketing capability but sit within the investments teams and will develop specific investment communications about each asset class, primarily for external audiences such as institutional investors and advisers. 

This will include the creation of additional market commentaries, reviews and research papers.

Janelle McKimm previously worked at Tyndall in a similar role for both asset classes and will now become part of the Australian equities team. 

She has over 20 years' financial services experience, including senior marketing and investment communication roles with organisations such as Perpetual Investments, BT Investment Management, AMP Capital Investors, Sydney Futures Exchange and Westpac Investment Management.

Jessica Burnstone joins Tyndall from Standard & Poor's Fund Services in Sydney and will work within the fixed income team. She has also worked for S&P Ratings Services' structured finance department in London and holds a master of arts degree in English with first class honours from the University of Cambridge. «


REST BC: Bravura Solutions, a global supplier of transfer agency and wealth management software applications and professional services, has appointed Daryl Wright as its product marketing manager for global wealth management.

Reporting to head of product for global wealth management Darren Stevens, Wright will work closely with the product, sales and marketing teams to develop and execute holistic product marketing strategies for the global wealth management division, focusing on client needs and identifying market trends and challenges.

Stevens said: "We are excited to welcome Daryl to the Bravura team. He brings a wealth of experience and skills from across the marketing, product management, research and business development spectrum."

Professional services firm Crowe Horwath has continued its senior hiring blitz with the appointment of four new principals aimed at meeting increasing demand for customs, international trade and consulting services for small to medium enterprises (SME) and larger corporates. 

The new hires follow the recruitment of 13 principals in the past year as Crowe Horwath continues its drive to cement its leadership position in the SME market.

The four new principals are Russell Wilkinson (customs) and Rahavan Yoganathan (corporate finance) located in the Sydney office, and Kylee Valentine (business advisory) and John Swete Kelly (business advisory) in the Brisbane office.

 

Ironbark Asset Management is adding to its existing key account team.

Lucie Douez joins the Ironbark team and has over seven years' experience in the financial services sector.

Douez has previously held key account roles with ING Investment Management and Goldman Sachs JBWere Asset Management.

In this role, she is responsible for servicing the financial planning community in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
