Former Vanguard Investments Australia managing director Jeremy Duffield has been appointed to the MLC board.
Duffield joins as a non-executive director of MLC, National Wealth Management Holdings and other subsidiary companies.
He joins MLC chairman Geoff Tomlinson and fellow board directors Steve Tucker, John Moule, Ian Crow, Andrew Rothery, Gary Symonds, Melinda Snowden, Andrew Hagger, Bill Webster and Duncan West.
Commenting on Duffield's appointment, Tomlinson said: "We look forward to welcoming Jeremy and the expertise and experience he will bring to the board."
Duffield is chairman of the Australian Centre for Financial Studies, a member of the Australian government's Financial Centre Task Force, and a director of National Corporate Investment Services, National Asset Management and Plum Financial Services.
Prior to this, Duffield was a Director on the Vanguard Investments Japan board, Vanguard Investments Singapore board.
He has also held the role as deputy chairman of the Financial Services Council.
