Former Financial Services Partners (FSP) chief executive Geoff Rimmer has confirmed his departure from the dealer group in November last year, but has chosen not to cite the reason for his exit.
"Yes, I have left," Rimmer said.
FSP was also unable to comment on the details of the departure of its former chief, who was with the group for 12 years.
New chief executive Charles Smith was appointed on 5 December 2011.
Smith said FSP would introduce new terms to the dealer group, to be launched at its conference late next month, to give it a competitive recruitment edge in 2012.
"It will be a very inexpensive dealer group to belong to and, in fact, one of the most price-competitive dealer groups in the marketplace," he said.
"What we're doing is building a lot of tools for our advisers to give much better service back to their clients."
Smith's direct previous role was general manager of aligned dealer groups at OnePath, a job he held for three years.
