ANZ has named Andrew Lowe as acting OnePath national technical manager.

Andrew Lowe has been named the acting OnePath national technical manager.

Lowe, the OnePath head of technical sales strategy, steps into the role left vacant by industry veteran Graeme Colley.

Colley announced his departure from the ANZ-owned wealth division on Wednesday.

"Graeme has made a significant contribution to the services and expertise provided by the OnePath technical services team since he commenced at ING Australia in 2001," an ANZ spokesman said.

"In his most recent role as national technical services manager, Graeme has lifted the profile of OnePath's superannuation technical capabilities through media, conferences, presentations and speeches.

"Graeme is highly regarded in the industry for his knowledge and expertise. We wish Graeme well in his new position at SPAA (Self-Managed Super Fund Professionals' Association of Australia)."

Earlier this week, SPAA announced it had hired Colley to the newly-created role of director of education and professional standards.

In his new job, Colley will be responsible for developing the association's professional standards and education program.

Colley brings to the new position 30 years of industry experience with a particular focus on taxation and superannuation.
