Adviser demand for greater investment choice has prompted MLC to add a number of new funds to the investment menu of its MLC MasterKey offering.
MLC MasterKey has added the Antares Elite Opportunities Fund; Antares High Growth Shares Fund; and the Altrinsic Global Equities Trust to its MasterKey Fundamentals.
"Advisers have told us they want access to a select range of investment options so I'm pleased to announce the inclusion of the [funds] on the MLC MasterKey Fundamentals investment menu," MLC MasterKey General Manager Dean Thomas said.
"Our focus is on providing advisers with the necessary investment solutions to meet their clients' needs and to help them to grow and protect their wealth.
"This is why we're continuing to enhance our investment menu with quality managers and funds that cover an array of investment styles and themes."
The changes are part of the platform's development and follow enhancements that were announced in November last year, MLC said.
Last week, MLC announced it had renamed Aviva Investors Australia to Antares.
The rebrand places the business unit in line with MLC's existing institutional fixed-income team of the same name.
The Antares equities team managed in excess of $4.5 billion of Australian equities across core, concentrated, income, long-short, small-cap and property strategies, the company said in a statement.
MLC purchased Aviva Investors Australia in October 2011.
