Altius Asset Management (Altius) has boosted its investment advisory committee with the appointment of three senior industry figures.
Don Stammer, Tony Fitzgerald and Wayne Jarman have become members of the fixed interest manager's separate investment advisory committee to provide knowledge and expertise on the investment environment, the trends that affect fixed interest and investment markets in general.
They join three Altius portfolio managers on the committee.
Stammer has worked at the Reserve Bank of Australia as an economist and held senior roles with Deutsche Bank Australia, and ING Australia.
He is a non-executive director of Praemium, ING Private Equity Access and Kaplan Higher Education.
Fitzgerald is the chairman of Colonial First State's Global Asset Management's credit committee.
Jarman holds over 30 years' experience in debt capital markets, banking and infrastructure. He was previously an executive director of the New South Wales Government's Asset management committee.
The additions to the committee would bring invaluable insights into local and global economic and financial market issues, Altius chief investment officer Bill Bovingdon said in a company announcement.
He was unavailable for comment before InvestorDaily's deadline.
Altius was formed through a joint venture with Australian Unity Investments.
