Brad Gale has joined Wilson HTM Investment Group as the company's head of private wealth.

The former managing director of JBWere has joined Wilson HTM Investment Group (Wilson) to lead its private wealth division.

Brad Gale joins the listed financial services company as head of private wealth management and also takes a seat on the company's executive leadership team.

Gale takes the wealth reigns from Wilson managing director Andrew Coppin who previously held the position prior to his company leadership appointment in October last year.

Commenting on Gale's hire, Coppin told InvestorDaily: "It's critical that we have the best leadership. We were very happy that we could get the services, skills and knowledge of Brad's calibre".

In his new job, Gale will be responsible for overseeing the company's multi-billion dollar private wealth division including its financial planning area as well as the sales and distribution teams, Coppin said.

Wilson has around 15,000 active clients and around 35, 000 clients all up, he added.

Coppin said the company continues to focus on rebuilding and consolidating in the "challenging" wealth environment.

Gale joins Wilson from JBWere and Goldman Sachs JBWere where he held senior executive positions for more than a decade.
