Wolf of Wall Street to speak at the 13th Annual Wraps, Platforms and Masterfunds conference

Jordan Belfort, the infamous ‘Wolf of Wall Street’, has been revealed as international guest speaker at the 13th annual Wraps, Platforms and Masterfunds Conference to be held from 21 to 23 August 2013 at the Cyprus Lakes Resort, Hunter Valley.

In the 1990s, Mr Belfort built one of the most dynamic and financially successful brokerages in Wall Street history. During that time, he soared to the highest financial heights, earning over $50 million a year through high pressure sales tactics – a feat that earned him his nickname, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’.

Along with that tremendous success, however, came an equally spectacular – and well-publicised – fall from grace, a story that will be unveiled on the big screen as a major Hollywood blockbuster in November this year.

Acknowledging the mistakes he made, he then re-emerged as a leading expert in sales and market engagement strategies and is a highly sought-after speaker the world over for his insights into building, managing and promoting businesses.

The Wolf of Wall Street will share his strategies for mastering platform distribution and the sales domino effect exclusively at the 13th annual Wraps, Platforms and Masterfunds conference.

According to Russell Stephenson, publisher of InvestorDaily, Jordan Belfort offers a rare insight into what it takes to become – and remain – successful in an ever-changing business world, underpinning the theme of this year’s conference, the Next Frontier.

“Not only has Jordan proved to be a powerhouse while at the helm of his own organisition, he has also been able to mentor other companies and guide them to their own success.

“This is a rare opportunity for the Australian finance sector to hear from an international icon and learn what it takes to succeed in an evolving market,” Mr Stephenson said.

The full conference agenda has also been released today, providing a strong mix of industry topics as well as a variety of networking opportunities. For the full agenda, please CLICK HERE.
