IOOF has announced that Nick Langton will take up the reins at Bridges from 11 August, leading the licensee as it prepares to integrate Credit Union Australia's financial planning arm, following the announcement of the deal earlier this month.
“Nick’s appointment signals the next phase of growth for the Bridges business,” said IOOF general manager, advice, Mick Farrell. “His leadership skills, sales background, and overall strategic experience in financial services will be well utilised in this role.”
Mr Langton also headed private wealth and retail sales while at Perpetual, as well as having held roles prior to that at Zurich and Westpac entities BT Financial Group and Asgard.
In a recent interview with InvestorDaily, Bridges Financial Services' general manager, alliances and distribution, Jason Kriss said the licensee intends to further its positioning as the “partner of choice for the customer-owned banking industry”.
