Fidelity Australia strengthens executive team

Fidelity Australia has announced the appointment of two new members to its executive team in an effort to strengthen the firm’s relationships with clients.

Fidelity has announced the appointments of Alva De Voy as investment director and Warwick Boys as head of institutional business.

Prior to her appointment, Ms De Voy worked for CIMD Securities International Australia as managing director and head of equity research and strategy.

Ms De Voy has also held roles with a portfolio manager for asset manager KBC and  she was an equity strategist for the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Prior to Mr Boys’ appointment, he worked for Perpetual Investments as general manager of institutional business.

Before Perpetual, he also held a number of fixed-income trading and sales roles with Westpac, ANZ and ABN AMRO.

Managing director of Fidelity Australia Michael Bargholz said Ms De Voy and Mr Boys will “enhance” the firm's ability to serve clients.
