Property fund and platform manager DomaCom has opened a new office in Singapore and appointed Paul Zaman as managing director.

Mr Zaman will head the Singapore operations and support licensed wealth and financial advisers servicing Singapore Exempt Investors.

DomaCom is currently seeking authorisation of the DomaCom Fund offering by the Monetary Authority of Singapore for distribution to Singapore Exempt Investors, who are similar to those in Australia’s sophisticated investor category.

DomaCom chief executive Arthur Naoumidis said while the focus of the company is on the domestic market, which mainly involves the introduction of the model through financial planning networks, “it is difficult to ignore the strong Asian interest”.
