A statement released by Eaton Vance Management International – a subsidiary of investment management firm Eaton Vance Corp – said Mr Hodnett will be responsible for developing EVMI’s client base in the region.
“[Mr Hodnett] will commence working in the role in December and will continue to report directly to EVMI’s London-based managing director, Niall Quinn,” a statement from EVMI said.
Before commencing his new role, Mr Hodnett worked as director for institutional business development in Europe.
Prior to joining EVMI he worked for Macquarie Bank as senior vice president with the responsibility for UK institutional sales and consultant relations.
“Eaton Vance has been building its presence in the region for the past five years, in conjunction with its affiliate manager Parametric, and partner firm Hexavest,” EVMI said.
