PAN-Tribal Asset Management has announced the launch of the Jennison Global Equity Opportunities Fund – a high conviction, alpha concentrated global growth equity fund that is sector- and region-agnostic.
According to PAN-Tribal, the fund will invest primarily in the AUD unhedged share class of a UCITS fund managed by Jennison in its global growth equity strategy.
Moreover, it seeks long-term growth of capital by gaining exposure to primarily equity and equity-related securities of companies located around the world.
Commenting on the partnership, PAN-Tribal chief executive Colin Woods said: “We are delighted to work with Jennison and distribute this fund in the Australian market.”
Namely, New York-based Jennison Associates specialises in a select range of active equity and fixed income investment strategies.
“For more than 50 years, Jennison has consistently applied its investment principles to build insights and judgement that help them identify opportunities and construct portfolios,” Woods continued.
“Jennison’s investment approach is differentiated from other global equity growth funds available in the Australian market and, importantly, complements our existing suite of funds.”
The fund is now available on AMP North, BT Panorama, HUB24 and Netwealth.
Mark Baribeau, Jennison’s head of global equity and managing director, added: “PAN-Tribal Asset Management has a well-established brand, with a quality team and a strong track record in distribution in Australia. We look forward to a successful partnership with them.”
Since the PAN-Tribal Global Equity Fund was launched in 2015, the investment manager’s line-up has been expanded to include the Ashmore Emerging Markets Equity Fund, the ATLAS Infrastructure Australian Feeder Fund, the Barwon Global Listed Private Equity Fund, and now its most recent launch.
In September PAN-Tribal expanded its team to meet this growth, adding wealth management specialist Jordan Thurlow as a key account manager.
Joining the firm from Clinton Capital Partners – a venture capital advisory business where he led its expansion into start-up communities across Australia – Thurlow was welcomed to the role by Woods.
“He knows the advisory community and has a strong track record of building strong, productive relationships,” the CEO said at the time.
