InvestorDaily has welcomed global asset manager Russell Investments as a gold partner for the 2022 ESG Summit.

The summit is returning next year as an in-person event across Sydney and Melbourne to examine key environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues as Australia faces the greatest wealth transfer in history.

The summit will contribute to the increasing debate around issues such as climate change and gender equality by delivering a full day of expert-led sessions, keynote addresses, panel discussions and networking opportunities, while offering an in-depth look into the evolving ESG landscape and the tools and strategies advisers need to engage socially aware and proactive clients.

Russell Investments has now extended its support as a gold partner for the summit.

The asset manager offers multi-asset solutions across 32 countries and manages over $457 billion in assets (as at 30 September 2021).

Commenting on Russell Investments’ partnership with the ESG Summit, head of adviser and intermediary solutions Australia, Neil Rogan, said the asset manager is “delighted” to be a gold partner for the second year running.

“With an increasing demand for sustainable investments, it’s important for financial professionals to understand the ongoing changes and future of Australia’s ESG landscape and how they can help clients achieve their goals,” he said.

“This event is a great forum for advisers to connect and increase their knowledge on ESG issues, products and services. As a trusted partner of ESG products, we believe investors can invest in what matters most to them without jeopardising returns.”

The ESG Summit will take place in Melbourne on Thursday, 17 February, and in Sydney on Thursday 17 March 2022.
