New Zealand administration firm Trustees Executors has gone live with Bravura's wealth management platform Sonata.

Trustees Executors (TEL) will be the first company in New Zealand to implement Sonata for the big pension fund KiwiSaver.

Bravura will provide Sonata as a 'managed application service', which means all of TEL's IT arrangements will be handled by Bravura.

TEL executive director Rob Russell said Sonata was chosen after an "extensive evaluation process".

"Key factors in our decision included Sonata’s fully integrated workflow, Bravura’s clear migration plan, proven knowledge of New Zealand PIE tax requirements and the broad range of services Sonata will enable us to offer clients," Mr Russell said.

TEL, a long-term Bravura client, recently agreed to migrate from Talisman, one of Bravura's legacy wealth management platforms.
