Rice Warner nabs StatePlus chief

The former chief of StatePlus will join Rice Warner as it looks to grow its superannuation business.

Graeme Arnott will join Rice Warner’s superannuation consulting team as a senior consultant, bringing more than 25 years’ experience and “a passion for servicing members” to the role. Mr Arnott will be based in Sydney, with a focus on client solutions around custody and unit pricing, member admin, and advice solutions. 

“Graeme is an excellent addition to the Rice Warner team with his experience in the operational aspects of investments and administration. His knowledge of advice delivery will also be helpful for clients looking to take advantage of the growing demand for retirement planning services using cost effective technology-based solutions,” said Rice Warner chief executive Andrew Boal. 

“Our superannuation team will benefit from Graeme’s knowledge and experience, helping us to deliver new insights and solutions for our clients.”

Mr Arnott served as the chief operating officer of First State Super from 2007 to 2016 and as CEO of StatePlus from 2016 to 2020. He has also served on a number of industry bodies, including ASFA, AIST, FEAL and the Australian Custodian Association.
