ASX-listed software provider Decimal has entered into a commercial partnership with US software consultant Yoodle.

The partnership will enable Decimal to enter the financial institution and wealth management segments in the US, a statement issued by Decimal said.

The deal will see Decimal’s financial software offered to the 45 million users and 800 organisations currently on Yoodle’s platform.

Decimal executive chairman Michael Sertorio said the partnership will “accelerate” the company’s growth profile.

“We believe this partnership not only validates the strength and potential of our product, but provides access to an expansive distribution channel to the US financial industry,” Mr Sertorio said.

“Financial institutions are hungry to respond to the rapidly growing consumer preference for digital engagement and that’s where Decimal can fast-track the path to innovation through mutually beneficial partnerships like this,” he said.

According to the statement, partnerships are integral to Decimal’s marketing strategy.

“The company is experiencing significant interest from and is in advanced discussions with a number of high-profile organisations regarding similar agreements both in Australia and the US,” the statement said.

Decimal enables financial enterprises to provide affordable and accessible financial advice across a range of financial products.

Decimal opened its first US office in January 2015.
